In order to properly fit, your new set of Boot Belts you need to take two simple measurements. It is important to use the sizing methods below. DO NOT USE YOUR BOOT OR SHOE SIZE.
The first measurement should be taken at the bottom of your boot. Measure the width just inside your heel. It will probably fall within the range of 3 inches to 3 1/2 inches.
Heel Girth Size
There are two methods for taking this measurement.
The first method is to use a bootlace and a tape measure. Using a bootlace, hold it at the inside of the corner of the heel, lay it over the instep of your boot, and hold the second end at the outside of the other heel. Next, use a tape measure to measure the bootlace.
The second method is to use a flexible tape measure at the same locations.
Either of these estimates should fall into the range of 9 inches to 12 inches.
Determine Boot Belt Size
Using the two measurements, look at the table below to determine whether you need a Small, Medium, or Large Boot Belt.
For example, if your Heel Size is 3 inches and your Heel Girth Size is 9 1/2 inches, your Boot Belt size is Small. Another example, if your Heel Size is 3 1/4 inches and your Heel Girth Size is 11 inches your Boot Belt size is Medium.
|Heel Width Inches||Girth Size Inches||Boot Belt Size|
|3 1/4||10 1/2||Medium|
|3 1/2||11 1/2||Large|
Remember, it is important to use the sizing methods above. DO NOT USE YOUR BOOT OR SHOE SIZE.
